The race to hell was born by reconnecting to Dante's memory of the circles of hell in the Divine Comedy. Just like Dante the pilots they will find themselves in a "dark forest" and the one and only way to return to "seeing the stars again" will be to follow the GPS track characterized from countless obstacles and only one of the drivers will be the winner at the end of the 5 days of competition. The pilots will battle against each other but also they will fight against an impervious nature, sudden obstacles, a nature that constantly changes appearance, a dense forest, a maze of roads, only those who will be able to combine speed, driving technique, clarity and coolness in GPS navigation will rise to the top step of the podium.
Every day, the pilots will battle on a "circle of hell", a track to follow while navigating through woods, paths, mule tracks and in the end only the best will be the winner.
For the entire duration of the race the pilots will be followed via GPS technology using a transponder provided by the organisation, in this way it is possible to establish a clear and certain ranking. By combining the countless data transmitted by the transponder it will be possible to know at any moment where the competitor is, how fast he is moving, whether he is following the track in the correct way. All data will be collected and processed by the computer and by our technicians to establish the final ranking. Every day and at any time, friends and family will be able to know the ranking position of their favorite driver.
